The RP-5, part of the Rokit series from KRK, is a bi-amplified, magnetically-shielded two-way nearfield studio monitor with a custom 5" woofer and 1" soft dome tweeter, perfect for use in a professional or project studio. Each monitor has 45W of total power for clear audio with low distortion.
The cabinet of the RP-5 is designed with radiused edges and porting, minimizing diffraction for fuller sonic detail, improving stereo imaging, and negating port turbulence and other undesirable low end distortion. The cabinet interior is resonance-managed to minimize reflections and standing waves and thereby increase clarity and distinction between frequencies.
