will this work with a Panasonic Micro 4/3 body ...

will this work with a Panasonic Micro 4/3 body and their 100-300mm telephoto? I have a g7 and a Gx85 and may get a GH5 or or G95.
Asked by: Steve
This is made for a 100-300mm lens to any brand DSLR camera. This to prevent to lens from falling off due to it's own weight. As long as your lens is 5 inches long. Someone from B & H recommended me this. I haven't used it yet unless I m birding. Good luck.

question

is it working with sigma 14mm f1.8 attached with MC-11 AT Mefoto roadtrip tripod?
Asked by: Mostafa
I have the Sigma 14mm and a Sony a7iii. Unfortunately, the support is just a bit too short for it. The far end (shaped like a wide V) of the support overlaps the front of the lens over just a couple of millimeters, so I feel it's unsafe to strap it in like this. Other cameras (I'm thinking DSLRs) are thicker than the mirrorless Sony, so the combination may work. The distance from the camera tripod socket to the support front where the lens front rests and is about 17cm. So mount your lens on the camera and measure from the tripod socket to the part of the lens that you feel you want to put on the support. It should be at least a bit more than 17cm.
