The Manfrotto 230 (3255) All Weather Tripod Shoes (Set of 3) are only compatible with select Manfrotto and Swarovski tripods. These tripods are listed on the compatibility tab. They are not compatible with any Really Right Stuff tripod.

I have a Manfrotto 055xPROB tripod with plain rubber feet. When the rubber foot is removed, there is only the end of the leg. Do these install on the end of the leg? Do you have any description of how the snow foot is mounted?
The Manfrotto 230 (3255) All Weather Tripod Shoes (Set of 3) fit on by pressure and you do not take the rubber foot off.

Will these work with a Gitzo GT1545T Series 1 Traveler Carbon Fiber Tripod?
Although the rubber straps on this product allow it to wrap around the Gitzo tripod leg, due to the small leg diameter it will not hold very securely in place and therefore will cause the leg to frequently shift around on the shoes.
