The Pag 9316 ZL-150 is a 14.4 VDC NiMH battery. NiMH offers a higher capacity to size/mass ratio than exsisting NiCd batteries, which makes it ideal for today's small and lightweight camcorders. This battery is travel friendly because it does not utilize lithium ion technology.
Digital On-Battery Display
An LED-array charge indicator is incorporated in this battery's design.
Output Protection
The ZL-150 battery is protected against short circuit and excessive currents by means of a self-resetting protection device.
High Quality Cells
Pag uses specially selected cells for enhanced voltage hold-up characteristics. Tests show that within as little as 30 cycles these cells out-perform other cell types, which were chosen primarily for their initially higher capacity.
14.4 Volts
Virtually all camcorder will indicate a low voltage warning or cease to operate at about 11 volts. The 14.4V design of the ZL-150 complies precisely with equipment manufacturers' specifications, eliminating all of the problems that prevent 12V batteries from performing optimally.
PAGLok
The PAGlok connector comprises two halves; one fitted to the camera, the other to the battery. When both halves are locked together they form a secure mechanical and electrical connection between camera and battery, even if the camera is handled roughly or inverted.
