The Windy31 Wireless Broadband Router from Synet is a portable wireless device. The USB device features three-in-one functionality; it works as a wireless LAN card, an access point, and a router.
Wireless LAN Card
The Windy31 works as a standard USB Wi-Fi card. Simply plug it into your computer. You'll be able to use it to access any standard 802.11b/g Wi-Fi network.
Wireless Access Point
The device can be used to network up to 32 different clients. Simply plug the Windy31 into a host computer, and you've created your own wireless network. You'll be able to manage local networks and share documents, all without wires!
Wireless Router
The Windy31 can be used as a wireless router. It allows the host computer to connect to other surrounding Wi-Fi products, including laptops, PDAs, and cell phones. This allows those devices to share the Internet connection with the host. Please note that the host computer must have its own connection to the Internet for this functionality to work.
