LensCoat LCBBDC Overview

  • 1Description

The digital army camo BodyBag from LensCoat is a rubber neoprene cover, which is ideal for storage and travel, that slips over select SLR or DSLR Canon and Nikon cameras. Moreover, cameras with approximate dimensions of 6 x 4.5 x 3" will also fit the neoprene cover. The rubber neoprene is shock-absorbing, which protects the camera against scratches and dents; and the contents are kept secure, as well as dust and dirt-free, with the hook-and-loop closure.

    LensCoat LCBBDC Reviews

BodyBag (Digital Army Camo) is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 58.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, well-fitting, protective camera sleeve This is an absolutely fantastic camera sleeve. It slides right over the camera, and even has room to stretch over a small-ish lens. I use this with a Nikon F, which is not a small camera. It has a snug fit. When fitted onto my Olympus OM-1, it's a little roomier and I could probably leave a longer lens on the body. All in all, it looks and feels protective. Great to have on the camera when I'm carrying it over my shoulder but not shooting, or putting the camera into a bag that isn't a "camera bag". I don't have to worry so much about scratching the lens or body. Of course I leave the lens cap on when putting it in this case.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from With a few improvements, a great product I use these for two Nikon cameras - D300 and D700 and the ability to quickly place one of these bodies in their respective bag and know it won't clank against a lens or something else is reassuring. However, the velcro portion in my opinion is either not needed or excessive. What I've found to be happening is that the male portion of the velcro is grabbing at everything that it comes in contact with and is slowly breaking down, fiber-by-fiber, the bag in which the velcro is attached to. I've found the flap closes naturally w/out the need for velcro and once stored, accidentally opening becomes pointless anyways. Great bag otherwise.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fashion Week for Digital camera I recently went on a trip to the east coast and needed something for my Canon XTi. It's hard enough to get things through security, so if the camera is disassembled it makes it easier to bring onboard. This LensCoat BodyBag went through like a charm and it protected my camera and made a fashion statement at the same time - ( I already had a case for the lens). I'm not fond of the name ( BodyBag ) but it works. I got more comments about that than my new outfit. I only wish they had a few more color choices especially suited for women, but that's OK. All in all I love it and use it all the time now even if I'm not traveling.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Product I was looking for something to protect my Canon 5D Mark iii body other than a regular camera bag. This LensCoat BodyBag does the job to help from scratches should it come in contact with another hard surface. You certainly don't want to drop it since the material may not protect the camera from getting damaged. It is is a good product to protect the body during transportation or storage. I would have liked the bag to be a little larger to hold the body with the grip. Unfortunately you have to remove the grip everytime you place the camera in the bag. This is a slight inconvenience.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Body Bag Fits an EOS 1V perfectly. However, the smell of these products is horrible! Probably contains toxic materials, for anyone chemically sensitive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fit I use this for the Nikon D5200 and it covers it pretty well. It does not fit with a lens on. I assume it works for cameras the same size because it is a pouch that stretches. The velcro holds pretty nicely, and the design lets you keep your camera strap on the camera because the side where the straps go are open.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cozy and Compact I use this bag for storage when I'm not shooting. It fits my camera very snug and secure. There is another LensCoat bag for storing your camera with a lens attached. Also, virtually no space is taken up when not in use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Pentax + pancake lens I needed protection for my Pentax K200D with DA 40 pancake lens attached. The LensCoat fits just fine. Quality product. I only wish there were solid colors to choose from.
