It features a hefty basis weight of 400 gsm, a thickness of 22 mil, an opacity of 98%, and a whiteness of 101%. Also, it is instant drying and water resistant and uses a moderate amount of OBA content to achieve a bright white point. Additionally, the matte canvas is acid free for archival-grade prints. It comes on a 2" core.

This is a matte canvas right? I'm not sure what Tactile Surface Texture means
Not sure what the term Tactile Surface Texture means 'though I suspect it's little more than a marketing term. Please note, I haven't printed on this product yet but I can say Daguerre Canvas is an actual canvas material and when compared to the Epson's Exhibition Canvas Matte (uses Matte Ink on Stylus Photo 3800), the weave of the Daguerre Canvas is slightly finer and flatter 'though they're essentially the same whiteness.This forum prevents me from attaching links to Hahnemuhle so I recommend you go to their site where you can get a further information.
