Manfrotto 055XB Classic Aluminum Tripod Legs (Black) with 460MG 3D Magnesium Head

The Bogen/Manfrotto 055XB Classic Aluminum Tripod Legs with 460MG 3D Magnesium Head builds on the success of the 3011/3021 series, but has been redesigned to offer even better ergonomics of the leg-angle release mechanism, and improved quick action leg locks. While it can reach eye-level working heights, by using the low angle adapter built in to the center column it can also be used extremely low to the ground.

The 055XB provides speedy set up coupled with added security with quick action, lever-type leg locks, low angle adapter and leg warmers. It is ideal for use with 35mm and light medium format photographic cameras, as well as digital or conventional type video camcorders.

The 460MG 3D Magnesium Head is cast from lightweight magnesium and can be positioned in virtually any position to get the exact framing of the image. The lock-system, using spring-loaded conical joints, allows greater flexibility than virtually any other 3D head - whether mounted on a tripod center column or lateral arm. The rubber grip knobs provide finger tip control.
