Formatt Hitech 5 x 5" Net White 1 Filter

The 5 x 5" Net White 1 Filter from Formatt takes its style from the old masters of Hollywood who used to place a grid over a filter to achieve a diffusion effect. This net pattern softens skin blemishes while maintaining image clarity. This filter differs from Formatt's Net Black version in that contrast is not affected. Grade 1 will provide minimal diffusion but generate enough highlight flare to cover minor skin imperfections as well as giving the image an enhanced sense of glamor. No change in contrast will be visible. Please note, care must be paid to your choice of depth of field so that the grid pattern does not show up in the image. This is an excellent choice for a wedding or portrait photographer since it can help cover up minor skin imperfections while adding a touch of elegance to the shot.
