High-Quality Projection
Shines bright at 2200 lumens, while its 2000:1 contrast ratio creates darker blacks in presentations and video.
Brilliant Color technology allows for more vivid, rich colors while increasing mid-tones and superior black levels.
Color Enhancer2 video processor and a six-segment color wheel enables the XD500U-G to produce a wider color palette by blending cyan and yellow segments in addition to the standard red, green, white and blue. A variable illumination technique makes selected colors more vivid by adjusting the lamp power while maintaining all the brightness of your portable projector.

Dynamic lamp design intelligently emphasizes selected colors with vivid and natural looking images, while maintaining the overall picture brightness. Mitsubishi coded the color algorithms to emphasize brightness or color modes, designed to match the environment where the XD500U-G is used. For instance, when projecting an already-bright screen image, the lamp is programmed to provide brighter, more vivid colors. In contrast, if the image shows genuine color reproduction, the algorithms delivers just the right colors with the appropriate radiance for maximum visual impact.
Compact 6.5 lb design makes it a portable projector, perfect for the classroom, as a conference room projector, and beyond. For permanent installations, it offers a center lens design and convenient top loading lamp. That means, the lamp (3000 hour lamp life) is easily accessible and exchanged, while the projector is ceiling mounted.
