The soft touch release was just what I needed. Fits perfectly and adds to my shooting pleasure.

Unlike other shutter soft releases that stick up and often wind up being broken off, this one is a lot different and really adds an excellent tactile feel as you press the shutter down, and the fact that it doesn't stick up like others there's no risk of breaking it off as you drag your camera out of the bag or stuff it back in.

The Bower Soft Touch Finger Release for Nikon F2 can work on many other cameras that have threads on their shutter release. The Nikkormat FTn had two versions. The first one did not have threads, and later they made one that did. If the version you have has threads, it should work.

This does not work on the F3. There are no outer threads on the shutter button for this to screw onto. Only the center of the button is threaded for a soft release or cable release...
