The MSR250 Loudspeaker from Yamaha features a unique cabinet geometry that eliminates standing waves within the cabinet. The unit also features acoustic insulation to deaden the space within the enclosure. It includes an advanced ferrofluid in the voice coil gap that conducts heat away from the voice coil. The conduction thereby reduces heat within the speaker and allows for more natural frequency response and dynamics, as well as stable performance under heavy use.
This unit features a class D amplifier that delivers 250W of power via a 10" cone woofer and 1" titanium-dome compression driver. It also includes a 2.5" aluminum coil. It offers frequency response from 55Hz to 20kHz. Dual input channels allow you to link to other systems and audio devices, or expand your system. The speaker also includes a pole-mount receptacle, allowing for multiple installation possibilities.
