Primacoustic Cumulus - Broadband Ceiling Corner Trap (Black)

The Cumulus from Primacoustic is a simple, yet elegant solution to acoustic management in small rooms. Each Cumulus is a 24 inch sided triangular trap that effectively absorbs audio energy from 125kHz and up. When mounted in a ceiling corner, the trap provides a full 12 inches of air space behind the façade for further aid in taming bass build-up.

Each panel (there are 2 per order) is made from high density 6 lb per ft³ rigid fiberglass, a material similar to that used by broadcasters and world-class studios to control their room acoustics. The panel is fully encapsulated in a micromesh fabric and the edges are resin-hardened, features which also prevent any escape of minute glass fibers into the surrounding atmosphere.

Installation is quick and painless. An eye-bolt is secured into a ceiling-wall junction and the trap is spring loaded onto the bolt ensuring a tight seal between trap and ceiling/wall. A choice of 3 fabric colors is available, black, beige and grey. The general construction of the trap is such that it will not interfere with the present room design, while also providing an attractive accent to any audio space.
