The Lemco M42-M is my third Novoflex adapter - I also have a Nikon F to ltm and a Leica-R to Leica-M. I have an M11 with EVF at the top of my roster and Novoflex adapters allow me to confidently use non-M lenses with no image degradation that I have ever been able to discern. Today, the adapter arrived as did an M42 Zeiss Jena Pancolar 50mm f/1.8 - the photo attached is with the Pancolar straight from the camera at f/4 with no sharpening - I doubt a 30 dollar adapter would have such a result with an unforgiving 60MP sensor. Then there is the real risk of damaging the mount or the adapter becoming stuck-on. The latter happened with the only âKâ brand adapter I ever tried - I now call them Keepoff brand. As usual, B&H is the best for product, price, info, reviews, and making it easy for the customer.
