JMI Telescopes MOTOFOCUS Electric Focusing Motor for Celestron 9.25" SCT

This JMI Telescopes MOTOFOCUS Electric Focusing Motor is an electronic focusing system that attaches to the standard focuser on Celestron 9.25" Schmidt-Cassegrain OTAs with a rectangular plate at the base of the focusing knob, and controlled by a simple easy-to-use hand controller. It installs easily without the need to drill & tap new holes or any other permanent modification. The MOTOFOCUS gives you impressive control of the focusing mechanism and allows you to achieve a level of precision focusing not typically possible manually, with the additional benefit of not having to touch your telescope - which necessarily causes vibration. With variable speeds and an electronic breaking system this device eliminates the backlash that is native to most focusers for clearer viewing. The use of the MOTOFOCUS provides the vibration-free precision focusing required for astrophotography or when using extremely high magnification eyepieces.
