JMI Telescopes MOTOFOCUS Electric Telescope Focusing Motor

This JMI Telescopes MOTOFOCUS is a motorized electronic focusing mechanism that affixes specifically to the Celestron NexStar 4, 4 GT, & 4 SE's focuser knob.  In this case, the motor sits aside the oversized knob of the 4" NexStars, and a rubber ring runs between the little motor and the focuser knob.

MOTOFOCUS operates off of a supplied 9-volt battery; with a bit of practice, you'll be able to adjust your focuser in increments much smaller than the width of a business card.  In particular, springing for the MOTOFOCUS gives you much more enjoyable high-magnification viewing from your Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain 4" scope, with finer control over the image and much less user-induced vibrations.
