40.5mm 81A Light Balancing Filter is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed I usually use B+W filters, but was not able to find a 81A B+W filter in 40.5mm size. According to online reviews Formatt appeared to be the same in quality as the B+W. Well, that was not the case. The filter arrived with a small, about 0.5mm dent/scratch near the center of the glass. The glass itself did not sit tightly in the ring either. Considering the high price that these filters cost, I was definitely expecting more. I returned the filter and eventually found a NOS Hoya 81A filter on the auction site, which I am quite happy with. The return through B&H was painless and fast, no problems in that regard.
