It has a 200-year longevity rating, as well as a proprietary ScratchArmor scratch-proof coating that protects the discs over fifty times better than typical coatings found on other optical discs.
It is packaged in a high-quality archival-grade PVC-free jewel case designed to extend the overall lifetime of the media. Discs are suspended by the center-hub of the jewel case to prevent accidental bumping or mishandling. There are disc inserts that are lined on the reverse side for easy cataloging and traceability.
