Do these require a headphone amp? If so, any recommendations?
Yes, the Beyerdynamic DT 880 PRO Semi-Open Dynamic Studio Headphones (250 Ohms) do require a headphone amp. For a very basic option for one person, you can use the Kopul HAMP-MATE-B1 Balanced Headphone Amplifier (B&H # KOHAMPMATEB1). We have many options for headphone amps and it would be best to have you contact us so we can find out what type of application you will be using the headphones for and then make a recommendation based on your specific needs.
