The Mamiya 310-246 RB67 Adapter for 645AFD ZD Digital Back is a digital back adapter with its own rotating mechanism. It replaces the RB67's revolving adapter. Since the ZD back is not electronically connected to the RB67 ProS or ProSD bodies and lenses, the sync cable on the HX702 adapter must be plugged into the PC connection of the lens. This allows the ZD back to be activated when the shutter release button is depressed.
Shooting data such as aperture, shutter speed, etc. will NOT be shown on the metadata files because there is no direct interface between camera, lens and ZD back.
Note:
This is totally different from the DM-series' RB67 adapter, which has 2 mounting plates (1-Vertical, 1-Horizontal).
