Lens Cover for the Canon 200mm f/2 Lens (Realtree Max4) is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not White at All Just a note if you are considering this product - the color is not actually white. It's closer to an olive/beige color. If you imagine the difference between pure white and the Canon telephoto L lens off white color, and multiply that difference by 2, you get the color of this product. To be honest if I had of known, I would have gone with a black option. The material itself is thinner than I imagined. It's basically like a more flexible but thinner version of the hobby foam you get from craft shops, with a piece of fabric over it.I tried contacting Lenscoat@ via the online form about the color. Haven't received a reply after about a week. The Online Chat is never Online (I checked at every different time on an hourly basis over a 4 day period (slept at different times on different days due to the time difference in Australia))...was a total waste of time. The biggest issue is the price. If it was $10, I wouldn't care, but given it costs more than a 50 f/1.8 II lens, geez you'd hope for better value, color accuracy and service. The best part of the product is the convenience of not having to make it yourself - this is what you pay for.Recommended if you can stand the above.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from different from what i expected, comes in segments for some reason i thought it would be a single rubber/foam piece that could protect the lens from rain where it rotates at the joints, but it actually comes in individual slices that cover the lens and cap but leave it exposed to water where the lens is most vulnerable. i did not test it and returned it. I'm not saying it is not good, but i just did not like it. seller should probably offer more detailed pictures of the product and all its components. as far as protecting from the rain, a good old plastic bag will do for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for protection and cold weather The cover was not too hard to put on, but it is tricky to get all the seems just right. It offers the protection I was looking for, and keeps your hands from freezing like when you hold a bare lens in cold weather. The minor thing I don't like is that when I reverse my hood and put the lens in the case, the cover bunches up around the rim and causes a crease that doesn't want to go away.
