Presenter-friendly and flexible, the LX500 features lens offset and digital keystone correction. It offers unlimited setup options to meet specific staging requirements with 360° position function. In addition, the power lens shift ensures flawless image projection even in challenging and unusual positions.
Compact chassis design and airflow system provides quiet, reliable operation. A single front access filter, easy rear lamp access and a clogged filter detection system keeps maintenance simple. Change lenses with a single button with the Easy Release System (ERS) lens mount. Optional CCM-LX networking module allows the monitoring of projector functions and operation from a remote location via a web browser.
High Quality Projection
Equipped with a 330W NSH lamp and number of advanced technologies in its optical engine, the projector provides brightness of 5000 lumens, approaching the brightness of many large, multi-lamp models. Ideal for a wide range of applications in event halls, classrooms, and meeting rooms.
An optical compensator that has excellent light and heat resistance is used to achieve a long service life for the optical block and dramatically increase reliability. By suppressing disturbances in polarized waves and minimizing the light leakage from the LCD panel, the optical compensator ensures high-contrast on-screen color reproduction with solid black. A remarkable contrast ratio of 1000:1 ensures the LX500 offers more natural image reproduction with finer gradations.
High Performance
Cabinet design offers improved air flow with One-Way Flow System, an efficient temperature control system that cools the projector. Intake and exhaust ports are concentrated into one intake and one exhaust, both on the side, to improve cooling reliability as well solve dust-related problems.
Symmetric Lens Center Design (left-right center layout = left-right centered optical axis) offers unlimited setup options to meet specific staging requirements. To further increase installation convenience, +/-100% vertical (up/down) and +/-30% horizontal (left/right) lens shift ensures flawless image projection even at the most challenging positions.
Tilted installation (360° tilt angle) offers greater flexibility between the projector and screen positions, and overall installation conditions.
Vertical +40° /-20° and +/-/10° horizontal digital keystone correction.
Inputs/Outputs
RGB computer inputs include DVI-D or D-Sub 15-pin and BNC x5. Video inputs include component (BNC x3), composite (BNC) and S-Video. There is a stereo minijack for each of the two computer inputs and a stereo input (RCA x2) for the video inputs.
Outputs include a monitor output (D-sub 15-pin) and stereo minijack. Variable audio output allows users to control the audio level right from the projector.
Also offers USB connector (includes cable) to control your computer with the projector remote control, RS-232 port and wired remote control jack.
Easy Maintenance
When it is time to clean the filter, or when the filter is clogged, warnings are sent via LED indicators and a message on the on-screen display. Cleaning clogged filters increases picture quality while reducing heat damage to the interior.
For further maintenance the top plate can be flipped open to clean and replace the Prism Block system. Dust can be cleaned from the LCD panel to reduce artifacts in the projected images, and simple maintenance can be performed on optical parts without having to remove the cabinet.
Lamp and filter replacement is extremely easy.
Conveniences
Operating noise is hardly noticeable even in quiet settings like conference or AV rooms. The whisper quiet fan system produces an amazingly low noise level of only 31dB(economy mode).

Backed by a three-year parts and labor warranty. The warranty on the projection lamp is 120 days or 500 hours, whichever comes first.
Networking and Control with Optional CCM-LX Module
The LX500 can be connected to a computer network via the optional CCM-LX networking module for advanced management and control capabilities. The module holds an IP address and is the projector's portal to the network. Simply mount the module into the projector, and operators can monitor projector functions and operation from a remote location via a web browser. The CCM-LX also provides remote diagnostics, or troubleshooting, to prevent system downtime. Monitor functions such as power status, lamp status, input mode, signal condition, lamp-use time- all via the network.
