Fits Gitzo 1720 Pan Tilt Head

I contacted B&H to find out which plate I needed for my Gitzo 1720 Pan Tilt Head. They recommended a different plate (G1173-14B). I ordered it and it didn't fit. Was able to return (fortunately at no cost since B&H realized it was there error) and ordered this one -- fits perfectly!

1/4 screw is a bit too short

Only about 2 turns of the thread of the 1/4 screw protrude from the top of the plate. The screw barely engages with the tripod threads at the bottom of my camera, and I wish it was a little longer.
