The SmartAVI XT-PROS UXGA Monitor, Audio, RS232 and Infrared (IR) Signal Extenders are a pair of Cat-5 baluns designed to extend VGA, XGA, SUN, Mac and SGI compatible monitors, stereo audio, RS232 remote and IR signal up to 1000' away from the CPU. The XT-PROS includes the XT-PRO transmitter and XT-PRO receiver. Both are required to complete the extension between the CPU and monitor. The signal is sent between the transmitter and receiver via standard Cat-5 cable.
