Energizer AA reviews

Ultimate Lithium AA Batteries (1.5V, 3500mAh, 4-Pack) is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 91.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the Price Amazing batteries. I don't use anything else anymore for my film production needs. These batteries lasted 16 hours in a wireless mic compared to factory specs of 8 hours when using alkaline. Also, when used with a Litepanels Micro, the batteries are still going strong after nearly 8 hours when the factory specs say 1.5! These batteries may cost twice as much, but getting the long life out of them is far cheaper in the long run than replacing alkalines all the time. One word of warning: the batteries run strong their entire lifespan, but drop off quickly near the end.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These batteries are amazing I can't believe how great these batteries are.First of all, they look really nice. I actually felt kind of bad putting them in the little TV, because then you have actually pop the cover off just to have a look at them. So what I did was take a picture of the batteries and put it in my wallet so I can just open that up and look at them whenever I want to cheer myself up.Second, they fit perfectly. I mean, what are the chances that they would just exactly fit inside that little TV's battery compartment? Got to be, like, 1 in 10, but look at that, they exactly fit. It's as if the battery compartment were exactly made to hold that exact size of batteries, or vice-versa. Amazing.Third, they make the thing turn on! Try turning it on with no batteries in it, and, blah, nothing. Silence. Boo! But put these batteries in, and as long as you follow the little diagram that shows which way they go in, the thing turns on when you hit the on switch! I mean, again, what are the chances?I was actually so impressed that I bought the company, like when Victor Kiam bought Remington after using one of their electric shavers. Okay, to be honest, I didn't buy the company, because I kind of low-balled on my offer. They wanted a lot more than fifty bucks. A LOT more. But I tried, didn't I? In the end, I figured I could just pretend that I bought the company and moved its headquarters into my living room. I wrote ENERGIZER BATTERIES COMPANY on a piece of plywood using a fat grease pencil and nailed it above the door, and started answering my phone, Energizer Batteries, but my wife kind of flipped out and made me take the sign down and spackle over the holes and won't let me answer the phone anymore. But that hasn't dampened my enthusiasm one bit!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from when rechargeables won't work... These are the most potent AA batteries you can buy. The Ultimates are better than the 'Advanced' version. Rechargeables are far more cost effective, but for some applications, Lithium AAs are a good way to go. The price is pretty reasonable, compared to buying a bunch of Alkalines. The batteries are quite light. They lose their charge pretty slowly - over years, not months or weeks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light weight power I have used these Battries since they came out over 20 years ago. They really shine in use in my camera flash.Even though rechargeable recycle faster to start, after a quick trump, they peter out. These little honeys keep the sugar flowing and take the cake for longevity. To boot they are light weight a real plus for long shoots hand held.Only negative they are pricey.I have pulled them out when they became hot and replaced them with fresh ones, after they cooled off they were good to go again.Extraordinary!Worth every penny when you have no time for a second take.Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Batteries I use these batteries for my flash and they are by far the longest performing batteries I've ever tried - will never use anything different for my flash.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A no-brainer, this is the way to go. I'd say this is THE way to go for AA batteries. For a little under twice the cost of regular AAs, you get what seems to be more than double the life. Strictly from cost vs. benefit, that alone makes it worth it. On top of that, you make less waste, you reduce the number of battery-change stoppages and the risk of dead-battery emergencies in live production. I use it in my UWP-V1 wireless mic, and my POV.HD camera. They need to make larger bulk packages! I think they make 8x and 12x packs - B&H, you should pick these up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from READY WHEN YOU NEED THEM I USE THESE LITHIUM BATTERIES IN MY NIKON SB-800 SPEEDLIGHT, AND KEEP A BACKUP PACKAGE IN MY CAMERA BAG FOR WHEN THEY NEED REPLACEMENT. THE BATTERIES PROVIDE MONTHS OF USE BEFORE NEEDING REPLACEMENT, AND - EVEN MORE IMPORTANT - LONG SHELF LIFE, SO WHEN YOU NEED THE REPLACEMENTS THEY ARE READY TO GO.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ultimate Backup Batteries Backup batteries for all the digital cameras in my household. Rechargeables are very economical, but I make sure to always have some of these around, just in case someone forgot to recharge the NiMHs, or the (two) sets that I always carry with the cameras just ran out of juice...
