The OMX-HDMI-CAT5 HDMI over CAT-5 System from Ocean Matrix is a system designed for sending HDMI signals with a resolution of up to 1900 x 1200 or 1080p over CAT-5/6 Ethernet cable. The system's transmitter accepts an HDMI signal and converts it to an Ethernet signal, then outputs it to the receiver where it is translated into an HDMI signal again. Use this solution in digital flat-panel display applications that require long cable runs, such as home theaters, cinemas, and retail displays, among many other possible uses.
It will support data throughput of up to 1.65Gbps and has a system range of up to 110'. LED indicators on the transmitter and receiver provide an instant visual cue for system status.
