The Tiffen 2 x 2" Fog 1/4 Filter simulates the effects of natural fog or mist by creating a soft glow around highlights and lowering the overall contrast of the scene. There can also be a softening effect due to how the light interacts with the subject matter. The 1/4 density provides a greater amount of fog effect than the 1/8, but less than the 1/2, and requires no exposure compensation.

is it 2 inch filter with screw ? what is the filter glass thicknesss?
The Tiffen 2 x 2" Fog 2 Filter does not have a screw mount; this is a square 2 x 2" filter to use with a 2 x 2" filter holder. The filter is 4mm thick.

The filter size is "Filter Wheel 3", this is for a drop in system and is not 67mm. To find 67mm Tiffen Fog filters search the B&H website for "Tiffen 67mm Fog"
