Sharp PG-C355W 3LCD Multimedia Projector
Key Features
  • 3300 Lumens
  • 550:1 Contrast Ratio
  • WXGA (1280 x 800) Native Resolution
  • 3LCD Technology
With its 3300 lumens of projection power and a contrast ratio of 550:1 the WXGA-resolution PG-C355W 3LCD Multimedia Projector makes a great all 'round projector that works well at home, in school or in the corporate meeting room. Give it enough room and you can project a 300 inch diagonally measured image.

The PG-C355W is a master communicator. It can accept and project signals in the NTSC, NTSC 4.43, PAL, PAL-N, PAL-M, PAL-60 and SECAM video formats and its high definition capabilities include 720p, 1080i and 1080p. What's more, it's got a 100 to 240 volt power supply so it will work in many locations around the world.

The audio portion of your program is handled by a built-in two-watt speaker. Or you can pass audio through to separate powered speakers (not included). For the hearing impaired and those learning English as a second language closed captioning, from program sources that provide it, ensures your whole audience understands your presentation.

The remote control of your PG-C355W is as versatile as the rest of the projector. Connect your PC to the USB connection on the projector and you can use the remote as a wireless mouse. If you're narrating your presentation from beyond the remote's 23 foot infrared range or from a position that's not line-of-site with the projector you can use an optional Sharp lightweight cable to turn your wireless remote into a wired remote.

The PG-C355W is ideal for networked environments, either at home or at the office. Its RJ45 (Ethernet) jack allows you to plug it into your local network for remote access, control and self-reporting.

Not that it's easy to steal in the first place. In addition to the LAN monitor function it has a Kensington slot with which you can use an optional Kensington MicroSaver security system. If you use the (optional) ceiling mount kit you can use the optional security cable kit that attaches to the ceiling bracket too.

Powerful, versatile, easy to use and hard to steal. If only all of your equipment had so many virtues.

3300 Lumens and a 550:1 Contrast Ratio
That's plenty of projection power for medium to large sized rooms even when there's some ambient light to contend with. The PG-C355W provides exceptionally high image quality and flexibility for use in almost any venue or application.
International Power Supply And World Video Standards Plus HDTV
The PG-C355W is as useful on the international scene as it is here at home. It has a 120 V AC to 240 V AC power supply and it works with the NTSC, NTSC 4.43, PAL, PAL-N, PAL-M, PAL-60 and SECAM video standards. It's also a high definition projector that can display 720p, 1080i and 1080p.
Rapid Release Lens Mechanism and Three Optional Lenses
You can easily replace the included lens with one of three optional lenses. All three are sold by B&H and you can find their entries by entering their model numbers in the search box at the top of this page. The available lenses are:
  • AN-C12MZ Wide-Zoom Lens (1.5 – 1.9x)
  • AN-C27MZ Tele-Zoom Lens (3.3 – 5.1x)
  • AN-C41MZ Tele-Zoom Lens (5.1 – 7.2x)
Two Watt Speaker With Stereo Fixed or Variable Audio Out (VAO)
If the speaker isn't loud enough for your presentation venue, VAO stereo is also provided to use the projector with an external sound system or powered loudspeakers (not included). You can also choose to have the external speaker volume to be fixed instead of variable.
RJ-45 (Ethernet) Network Connector
This jack permits remote access by web browser, diagnosis and auto-e-mail sending, and the ability to link to a specific website for service and support. Sharp Display Manager software for multiple projector management and monitoring for theft protection is a free download at the Sharp site.
Closed Captioning Includes Your Whole Audience
This projector can display closed captioning from sources that provide it. CC comes in handy not only for the hard of hearing but also for those learning English as a foreign language. And it can help you get your message across in noisy environments too.
Security Measures Protect Your Investment
Enhanced anti-theft design includes LAN monitor function, optional ceiling lock-down structure with optional security cable kit. There's also a Kensington slot for an optional Kensington lock.
