Toshiba TDP-XP1U Overview

Weighing in at just 4.8-pounds, the Toshiba TDP-XP1U is an ultra-portable DLP projector loaded with features, yet very affordable. Ideal for on-the-go professionals, teachers, etc. its ready to go out of the box, easy to set up, and easy to operate. Featuring 2200 lumens of brightness, HDTV/DTV-compatibility, XGA resolution and DLP BrilliantColor technology, the TDP-XP1U is perfect for digital home entertainment, video gaming, classrooms and mobile business presentations.

High Quality Projection
Incorporates DLP BrilliantColor technology which utilizes up to six separate colors: red, blue, green cyan, yellow and magenta to allow for more accurate and vibrant colors that won't fade over time. Brilliant Color technology also enables a 50% increase in brightness of colors for both color fidelity and performance.
HDTV/DTV compatible for connection to a cable or satellite set-top box for viewing high-definition television.
Manual +/15° digital keystone correction.
High Performance
RS-232 port allows easy integration with AV network control systems in government, corporate and education markets.
Monitor-out capabilities to display and view images on a monitor and screen simultaneously. This allows presenters to face their audience rather than turning around to read slides as they appear on the screen.
Connections include one computer input (shared as component), composite and S-Video inputs, audio input and variable output.
Whisper-quiet operation of only 30dB in low mode, quieter than a soft conversation.
Conveniences
Extended lamp life of up to 3,000 hours in standard mode and 4,000 hours in economy mode.
Built-in 2W mono speaker for enhanced presentations.
Filter-free, the TDP-XP1U keeps damaging dust particles from collecting on its imaging elements. This reduces the cost of ownership by requiring one less part to replace, less maintenance and by extending the projectors' lamp life.
