Konus Polarizing Filter Set

The Konus #5655 Polarizing Filter Set works with the Biorex #5601 & #5605 microscopes (these are the Biorex models without infinity-adjusted objectives).

A polarizer filter allows a lighting source's light rays to be redistributed, and this in turn can reduce/eliminate glare and reflections as well as enhance overall specimen contrast.  It is often considered the most valuable filter.

This set includes a pair of polarizer foils which are adjusted relative to one another by turning them, so that while maintaining a specimen's position and focus point you can vary a polarizer's effect as you observe changes through the eyepieces.
