Audio-Technica AT-GRCW Reviews
Working with an issue
This item is to make a simple connection between the transiver and 1/4 instrument jack in Audio-Technica System 10. It works as intended, but it also has an serious issue. The length of its 1/4 jack is slightly longer than the length of standard 1/4 jack. When it is fully inserted into a 1/4 jack receptor hole of my Martin guitar, it doesn't make contact because the tip passed by the contact point further. To make it work, I needed to pull the 1/4 jack back slightly. However, this makes mechanically unsecured connection. To overcome this, I am using a rubber ring with 1/4 inner diameter and 1.5mm thickness to keep this distance out of receptor hole and also prevent the 1/4 jack from being completely inserted. This works well, but is still a temporary solution. The best way is that Audio-Technica should change the current longer 1/4 jack with a standard length jack. I hope that the manufacturer reviews this issue and fix it soon.
