The Pelco FT85011SSTR transmits one unidirectional composite video channel and one bidirectional data channel over one optical fiber. The data channel supports RS-232, RS-422, RS-485 (2-wire/4-wire), Manchester, and Bi-Phase standards.
The single mode transmitter offers an optical power budget of 20 dB. Also, this patent-pending technology enables transmission of Coaxitron Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ) control data. This data can be transmitted up to 30 km on a single mode fiber. The unit can be used either as a stand-alone module on a wall or desk or as a rack mounted one on a RK5000 series rack mount chassis.
