The HighPoint RocketRAID 2314 Host Adapter from PROAVIO is a PCI Express controller with hardware RAID capabilities. It features four eSATA ports, each capable of bus transfer speeds of 3Gb/s. The card is compatible with Windows, Mac, OS X, Linux, and FreeBSD.

SATA Storage
SATA II storage supports bus transfer rates of up to 300MB/sec. This makes it an excellent solution for video editing applications that require high data bandwidth and throughput.
Hardware RAID
The card features a hardware RAID controller that lets you stripe hard disks together for increased data throughput and security. RAID levels 0, 1, 5, and 10 are supported by the card, giving you a variety of options in configuring your disk array.
Backwards Compatible
The card is fully backwards compatible with legacy SATA 1.5Gb/s devices. This allows you to connect SATA 3Gb/s and 1.5Gb/s devices to the same card.
