The HDC-925 Up/Down/Cross Converter from Link Electronics is a DTV format converter that can up-, down-, and cross-convert SD/HD-SDI signals in real time. It is designed to offer enhanced performance through a number of proprietary algorithms, such as PixelMotion De-Interlacing, Multi-Directional Diagonal Filters, and Per-Pixel Temporal Recursive Noise Reduction.

AFD can be read and inserted for down-conversion or pass-through for cross-converting. It also features a proprietary FlexView Aspect Ratio, a non-linear anamorphic aspect ratio designed for converting 4:3 aspect ratio to 16:9 aspect ratio without the distortion that is often associated with anamorphic stretching. This unit additional supports and converts multiple formats.
