How does signal get to the monitor? Looks like you have to run a cable from camera to the monitor.
The Glidecam X45 sled has three HD-SDI video cables running inside the post from the top BNC connectors to base BNC connectors which then connects to the included display.

Any monitor with (I guess) a 1/4-20 fit? Also, no wires to monitor in the picture, so does it need own battery?
Thanks for the info about using other monitors and that there is internal wiring through the post. Guessing still need a short "jumper" cable from post to monitor? It is not at all clear on the pictures.
However, the monitor is NOT included. It is listed as an option to buy (along with batteries).For clarity, I am trying to help a school that bought this rig get it up and working. Here is the link to B&H for this Glidecam and it specifically says monitor not included.
