Sony VGC-JS190J/B Overview

The VAIO JS Series VGC-JS190J/B All-in-One Desktop Computer from Sony is a great computer for today's media-savvy families. You'll be able to use the computer with digital cameras, video cameras, MP3 players, and more.

The computer features an all-in-one design that places it completely within the 20.1" form factor of a widescreen LCD display. This design aesthetically complements any work environment or living room.

Sony includes their Click to Disc software for DVD creation with this computer. Productivity is handled by Microsoft Works SE 9.0. Trial versions of Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 and Windows Live OneCare are also included.

Bringing digital photos into your computer is easy with the built-in digital media card reader, and you can capture digital video through the conveniently located FireWire-400 port. You can easily connect peripheral devices to the computer via the five USB 2.0 ports.

The system is powered by a 3GHz Intel Pentium Dual-Core Processor E8400 CPU and boasts 4GB of RAM, a 500GB hard drive, a Blu-ray ROM with DVD Burning, and Intel GMA X4500HD graphics. Windows Vista Home Premium (64-bit) is the platform that ties all this hardware and software together, providing a great computer for the digital savvy user, backed by the Sony name.

The computer is powered by an Intel Pentium Dual-Core Processor E8400 CPU, giving you the power to run software to interface with digital devices such as digital cameras, digital video cameras and MP3 players. The dual-core technology delivers two execution cores in one CPU, giving you better performance than a comparable single-core processor.
Windows Vista Home Premium (64-bit)
The computer comes preloaded with the Windows Vista Home Premium operating system from Microsoft. Vista includes the slick Aero user interface, complete with the Windows Sidebar, gadget support, Flip3D navigation and more. The Home Premium edition of Vista includes the popular Windows Media Center application. This lets your computer more easily connect to your home theater and wirelessly stream media to the Xbox 360 or another compatible media extender device.
20.1" Widescreen Display
The computer is built into a 20.1" widescreen LCD display. This elegant and space saving design will look great in any decor. The display features a 1680 x 1050 resolution and XBRITE-HiColor technology for a stunning picture.
Blu-ray ROM with DVD Burning
