The NEC NP600 is a 3500 lumens XGA projector that's low-priced and full-featured. It's network ready and it can even email you to let you know when the lamp is nearing the end of its useful life. That's smart. But smart features abound in the NP600.
You might not always have a screen to project on so you'll appreciate the eight modes of wall color correction available from blackboard to pink.
If its built-in seven watt speaker isn't loud enough just use the variable audio out feature to feed your program's audio to externally powered speakers.
The NP600 is not just smart, it's versatile.
It's ready for the world with its 100 to 240 V AC power supply and compatibility with major video standards like NTSC, NTSC 4.43, PAL, PAL-N, PAL-M, PAL-60 and SECAM. It can also project 720p and 1080i HDTV and it works with more than 40 Mac and PC video standards.
Energy saving features abound in the NP600. It can automatically turn on when it receives a signal on one of its RGB inputs. And it has a sleep timer to automatically shut down after a pre-determined time (That's great for keeping meetings short!) In Eco mode the projection lamp can last as long as 4000 hours as power consumption drops from 295 to 240 watts and fan noise drops from 35 dB to a literally whisper quiet 29 dB. In standby mode the projector draws only three watts.
