xx The Elcan PhamtomIR from Morovision is a state-of-the-art thermal imaging solution for security professionals. Its ergonomic binocular design affords the operator long-term viewing comfort, while the rubberized exterior absorbs bumps and knocks while providing a secure grip. The PhantomIR starts up quickly, handles easily, and stows away with a minimum of effort.

Employing a high-quality uncooled sensor, the PhantomIR delivers the ability to see through most obscurants. Smoke, fog, foliage, even absolute darkness cannot mask the presence of heat generated at the molecular level. The PhamtomIR's thermal sensor detects and converts minuscule temperature differences in the scene into remarkable black and white imagery.

For tactical concerns, the PhantomIR is fitted with an accurate magnetic compass, and two user-selectable electronic reticles. The compass, when properly calibrated, is accurate to ±:3°, and the reticles can be switched off when needed.
