Straps slide, clips aren't great

My bf uses this on his goalie helmet. We have to knot the straps because the clips don't hold the tension. I'm not impressed with the clips unfortunately. The adhesive mounts don't work with his helmet because of the shape of it so this is this only option (the head strap doesn't stay either because of the design, which is fine because it works for what it's meant for, but that isn't this!). I'd like to see the clips metal with good teeth. Would happily pay more for the security of that as an upgrade.

Not perfect for Overade foldable helmet

There is some play between this GoPro mount and the Overade foldable helmet I'm using. I had to wedge an additional piece of paper (for now) for the mount to be stable with this helmet. I found that the straps unloose themselves a little while riding my bike, which was annoying. Otherwise the mount itself looks sturdy enough not to break.
