OP/TECH USA 1101231 Overview

The OP/TECH USA Double Lens Mount Cap allows you to securely lock two Leica-M lenses together. This is a huge space saver, as it enables the photographer to keep gear protected in a compact fashion.

This Double Lens Mount Cap is designed with an O-ring seal which creates a positive contact with the full perimeter of the lens mount area, locking out dust and moisture. It also offers a tighter friction fit over traditional caps that come with the lens, providing better protection to the lens mount area. This ensures that the cap is securely held in place while in storage or transit.

Doesn't really work

I tried it the shortest lenses I have (35 & 50). It won't clamp down on the mount more than a quarter inch, unlike the original Leica rear cap which has a lot of travel when you twist it on. Makes the thing untrustworthy. Good idea. Bad execution.

Trash

Doesn't allow lenses to turn, so if doesn't work. The alignment marking is easy to miss, and the whole thing is bulky. Did I mention it doesn't work?
