I've used Canon Photo Paper Pro Platinum with a Canon PRO-200S, and after printing a variety of images, from portraits to richly colored fine art pieces, I'm extremely impressed. The first thing that stands out is the depth and richness of the colors. Reds are vibrant without looking artificial, skin tones remain smooth and natural, and the paper produces beautiful contrast with deep blacks and bright highlights. What surprised me most was how much dimension this paper adds. Images almost seem to glow, especially portraits and photographs with strong color. The glossy finish gives prints a premium, gallery quality appearance while maintaining excellent detail. I've always been a luster paper fan, but Pro Platinum has made me rethink that preference. Certain images simply come alive on this paper. Highly recommended for anyone using Canon dye printers who wants a true display-quality print. B&H packaged everything perfectly and delivered exactly as expected. Would definitely purchase again.
My wife and I are serious photographers. We primarily shoot wildlife including birds, landscapes and cityscapes. While viewing photographs online is nice, nothing is better than a large framed with a matt version of one's photographs. I use Canon Pro Platinum paper as one of my go too papers with my Canon printer. The colors come out great and the results are very professional.
