This is the perfect paper to just see what an image has. It’s consistent, bright white and cheap. For color and black and white I print every image that I like first on Pro Platinum. Once I know the image on Pro Platinum then I know enough to try it on the expensive stuff. That saves money and frustration.
This canon pro platinum paper seems to add snap to the color prints I made. I use the pixma pro 200 printer and the paper seems like it is made for this printer. However I don't think it's cost effective as it does cost 22.00 per ten sheets. You can buy the pro luster 67.00$ and get fifty sheets. If you use this paper along with canon printer with chroma color inks the print is supposed to last 200 years. I would use this paper for my very best work only or if you are making family heirlooms. If like to make color prints and you use canon printers I believe you will be very happy the results. I rarely shoot black and white so I can't speak to that. I'm a hobbyist photographer.
