It depends more on the type of ink you are using and the degree of direct sunlight the print is exposed to. If the printer utilizes UV ink than the paper will withstand a significant amount of sunlight before fading.

question

Will this paper HP Universal Instant dry Satin Photo Paper work on an Epson Stylus pro 7880 printer?
Asked by: Clarence S.
As long as it will fit in the printer it will work. You might have to update some icc profiles if your colors aren't quite right. I've literally used about a hundred rolls in both a HP and Canon wide format printer. It's my favorite roll photo paper to use.
