Actual measurement is 66.5 not 68 still worth the purchase for tall photographers. Slight twist of the lock secures a leg into place or counter twist it unlocks quickly to desired height. Used with Canon 5dm2 with grip and Induro BHL3 ballhead for portrait & landscape adjustments. Better than expected.
I'm only just trying it out so far. The locks aren't as crisp as some put lock adequately tightly. It is strong and light (though shorter ones would be lighter still). This one is long enough to bring the camera to eye level. It as a sturdy carry strap to make it easy to hang of your arm and free both hands.
