The TX-PA40D from RDL is a high-quality utility amplifier designed to drive a pair of 4 or 8 Ohm speakers. Ideal for fixed-gain applications, or where gain is controlled by other equipment, the amplifier has a compact, discreet design that allows it to be installed virtually anywhere.
The amplifier offers highly efficient Class-D operation, and has thermal and short circuit protection built in. Input is via a stereo RCA input, and output is via standard positive/negative wire connectors. An integrated compressor/limiter controls clipping, and an LED meter shows when the compression threshold is reached.
