The XGA-Resolution Sony VPL-FX41L 3LCD Installation Projector is a powerhouse of a projector with 5200 lumens of brightness and a 900:1 contrast ratio.

Thanks to its 0.79" 3LCD BrightEra Projection Panels it creates vivid lifelike images in fine detail. 3LCD technology delivers sharper and brighter images with superior grayscale detail. But Sony has improved it with its BrightEra technology, which offers even higher brightness with improved reliability, increased contrast and reduced flicker.

Of course the VPL-FX41L has the features you've come to expect from a high-quality installation projector. It can display 720p, 1080i and 1080p high definition images and its international capabilities include being able to automatically select and project NTSC, NTSC 4.43, PAL, PAL-M, PAL-N, PAL-60 and SECAM signals. It also has a world-ready 100 to 240 volt AC 50/60 Hz power supply. And it offers your choice 16 languages for its onscreen display (OSD).

It's got its own 2.8 watt stereo speakers and in case you need more audio punch you can plug optional external speakers into its variable audio out jacks.

You can control the focus, zoom, and (both vertical and horizontal) picture shift from the projector or right from the Remote Commander remote control.

With its RJ45 jack you can attach the VPL-FX41L to your LAN and perform all of the usual operations like manage and control one or more projectors from a single PC and set up the projector to email you when it discovers a fault or, for instance, the lamp is nearing the end of its useful life.

But with the VPL-FX41L and a LAN connection you can do more. You can actually present from any computer on the network. If you manually register your PC's IP address with the projector you can project from anywhere on the Internet. That's great for teleconferencing and distance learning applications.

Finally, when you need the absolute maximum in projection power you can "stack" two VPL-FX41Ls. They stack next to each other, not on top of each other. To line up the images exactly you just use the Picture Shift function on both projectors.

The VPL-FX41L is sold without a lens so you can select the correct one for your exacting requirements. All of the lenses are available here at B&H. Just copy and paste a model number in the search box at the top of the page to see its entry. There are four to choose from:
