Savage V46-0810 Overview

This chroma green Infinity Solid Vinyl Background from Savage is an 8 x 10' seamless vinyl sheet with a nonreflective, glare-free matte finish. The true chroma green is ideal for both still and video chroma-key applications.

This durable vinyl background is wrinkle resistant, and can be easily spot cleaned with a sponge and mild soap. The roll core has a 2.125" interior diameter, so you can use it with most crossbar-type background support systems.

Note: Colors depicted may vary slightly, due to differences in computer monitors, printed media, and variances in the manufacturing process.

Has anybody noticed any Moire issues with this backdrop? I have a D800/E and I suspect it might cause moire.

With a plain paper or vinyl surface, there should be no moire issues with the Nikon 800E. It could very well have issues if the material was muslin. That being said, the 800E is a very specific use camera and moire can easily show up in repeat pattern surfaces and often surprising places as you know. In the end, it is our opinion that this vinyl background should not cause moire issues with the Nikon 800E.

Will these work on a wall-mounted roller system, like the Impact wall mounting kit? If so, what's the diameter of the tube these come on (for getting some PVC pipe)?

Savage lists their vinyl background as having a cardboard core which measures about 2.1 on the inside. If using it with the Impact Wall Mounting Kit, the Vari-Drives in that kit would insert into the cardboard core to help suspend it up onto the wall hooks.
