E-MU 0404 PCI - Universal PCI Digital Audio System

The 0404 PCI from E-Mu is a universal PCI card for Windows based computer systems that provides 4 inputs and 4 outputs of audio via a combination of analog and digital I/Os. Despite its low cost, the card nonetheless delivers impressive specifications with low signal to noise ratios and high dynamic range.

The card itself contains DSP that holds over 600 different effects and that can be utilized by the included PatchMix software for very flexible routing, processing and mixing of all the audio. The result is very low overhead CPU usage by the host software. Low latency drivers allow compatibility with a wide range of audio software, some of which is included with the system.
