The Manfrotto 526,545GBK Professional Video Tripod System is a professional kit that features the heavy-duty 526 fluid head and the 545GB two-stage tripod. The tripod incorporates a 100mm bowl for quick leveling. The 100mm diameter of the head fitting and bowl provide a wide platform for improved balance and smooth operation, compared to smaller head fittings. The 100mm ball/bowl allows you to work with cameras and accessories up to 35 pounds, offering great torsion rigidity for better stability. It includes a ground-level spreader for a variety of applications.

526 Fluid Video Head
Targeted towards the heavy-duty ENG and EFP video market, the 100mm half ball 526 fluid head supports top loads of 35 lb. It offers a replaceable pan arm rosette, large rubber-padded pan, tilt, and drag knobs, and a precise fluid drag system with low to high settings, plus zero drag for snap-pans and tilts.
545GB Tripod
The 545GB is a two-stage, twin-leg, aluminum 100mm bowl tripod with excellent torsion rigidity and 55 lb payload. This model comes with a ground spreader.
Case
The system comes with a soft case for excellent transportation capabilities.

526,545GBK Professional Video Tripod System with 526 Head is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job I needed to get a tripod system capable of supporting my very heavy URSA with all the cinema trappings, which could get my payload near 30lbs. There are very few choices under 2K but this one seemed to have some decent reviews so I went for it. I've used it over 10 times thus far and it performed very well. I've used some of the more expensive and popular tripods prior to this and while those other ones responded differently, I think it boils down to the operator knowing how to get the best from a tool. Once I understood how to get the tripod to perform, it was perfect.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid smooth low cost tripod and head For the money, I am extremely satisfied with this tripod. This head holds my RED ONE with ease and allows smooth operation. The photo shows a mid level spreader but it showed up with a floor spreader. I prefer a floor spreader so I'm good with it. I use a Sachtler tripod at work, and this is a cheap alternative to that awesome and expensive tripod.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Tripod Rocks! I just shot two projects with my new tripod and tripod head combo - and am very happy! The fluid head pans and tilts as smooth as glass, and the tripod is rock solid yet amazingly adjustable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I hated to return this. But for the price, I had to. I really needed a Manfrotto due to the quick release plate mainly, to match a shoulder rig, With one quick release plate installed on the camera, I could easily go from tripod to shoulder rig. The first mistake I made here was buying the 526 head. For one, the quick release plate is bigger than the other heads I have - my fault but I did not see any indication in the description that it used anything but a standard manfrotto plate. The legs are okay, I could have lived with them, although they weren't awesome. But the head needs to be rethought. It has 3 settings for the tension, rather than a knob that goes from loose to tight. The biggest issue is the stickiness. If you don't move the head for a few seconds then try to pan, it's going to need some force and you'll ruin the shot. I've had much cheaper heads do a much better job than this one does. I thought I was splurging by getting this, but realized that you don't always get what you pay for. My camera is only weighing in at 10 lbs with extras so it could be a weight issue. But I have had other heads larger heads that didn't do this with light cameras, so I don't think that's the issue. On the plus side, BH took the item back no questions asked and that's why I always use BH.
