For the professional composer or music publisher producing and outputting music scores and instrumental parts, Finale 2009 from MakeMusic is the software of choice. With a high quality printer and correct input, it is hard to distinguish between the finished "output" of the software and the printed page traditionally produced by engravers.
As with previous versions, enhancements have been added and include a more streamlined workflow along with the ability to edit multiple pages simultaneously. The Garritan Personal Orchestra library has been expanded to more than 300 sounds and a new Aria player provides greater control and a vastly improved user playback experience.
