Professional security facilities have come to realize that the last place to cut corners is on a crucial CCTV component such as a PTZ camera. These applications tend to skip right over the small players and head straight for the top. As a company widely recognized for manufacturing and integration of CCTV products of outstanding quality and durability, Pelco perfectly fits that description. Consequently, their products are regularly seen in malls, financial centers, sports arenas, government buildings and similar environments of a high security nature. As part of Pelco's Spectra IV SE series, the Pelco SD4CBW-F0 is made up of 3 key components - a back box, a camera and a lower dome - each available for separate purchase. This type of configuration will allow a user to upgrade or replace a part of the system without having to purchase a whole new unit, thus preserving an original investment.

Pelco SD4CBW-F0 Overview
80x Wide Dynamic Range
A Wide Dynamic Range camera can work wonders for applications plagued by high contrast and harsh backlighting, a problem particularly prevalent in glass enclosed lobbies and restaurants. WDR corrects this by separately capturing the dark and bright regions of an image and then combining the two, resulting in a well defined image with a perfect balance of dark and bright.
23x Optical Zoom
A powerful 23x optical zoom makes it an indispensable tool for applications in need of a camera that can cover a large area and at the same time have the ability to quickly move in for a close detailed look when necessary.
Back Box Memory
Camera settings and often used functions such as PTZ presets, patterns and zones can be stored to the back box memory system and easily retrieved when necessary. These functions remain stored in memory even when the camera is removed or upgraded.
UTP Video Transmission Option
In addition to a standard BNC video interface, this camera also supports a passive UTP circuit connector. This make it easy to install the camera in buildings already wired with this type of cabling.
Optional Fiber Module
A fiber module (FS85011) is available as an optional accessory for applications needing to integrate this dome with a fiber optic transmission system. With this board installed, users will be able to send one unidirectional composite video channel and one bidirectional data channel over one multimode or single-mode fiber optical cable.
